The Eagles Kitchen offers students healthy and delicious breakfast and lunch meals prepared from scratch by our own full-time Executive Chef and culinary team. No pre-ordering is required!
Before any food purchases can be made, all students must maintain a food account balance at K-12 Payment Center. To sign up for an account, you will need your student ID # which you can retrieve from your FACTS family portal account under the FAMILY tab. Please be sure to keep funds in your student’s account throughout the year with the "recurring payments" option so they are able to purchase food.
Students must adhere to the dress code at all times while on campus.
Note: Junior high students are required to wear a PE uniform for PE class. Uniforms are available for purchase at Lands’ End. PE lockers are also available for use; students need to provide their own combination lock.
On Fridays, students get to take a break from the usual uniform dress code and are allowed to wear a CVCS Friday t-shirt with blue jeans. Friday shirts are only for sale through the school and must be pre-ordered by August 2.
Elementary students do not need to purchase school supplies—they are provided by the school. Students will receive their supplies from their teacher on the first day of school. This does not include a backpack so please send your child to school with their own backpack.
Kindergarten through fifth grade only: Bibles will be supplied by the school to go with our online digital Bible curriculum, DeepRootsBible.com.

Junior high students are required to purchase their own textbooks from any bookseller. To avoid errors in ordering, we strongly encourage you to be certain that your student’s schedule is final before purchasing any books.
Each student is provided with their own state-of-the-art Lenovo Thinkpad laptop to be used during class and at home throughout the school year. Laptops are issued by the school and distributed to students before or on their first day of school. All laptops need to be carried in a protective sleeve or backpack (not provided).
Students will be provided with a specific school supply list from their teachers on the first day of school. General school supplies that are not related to specific classes can be purchased ahead of time.
Large binder with dividers or smaller binders for each class
Writing utensils - Black or blue pens, #2 pencils, and a green pen for correcting
College ruled lined paper
Earbuds/headphones (earbuds preferred due to the compact size)
New students and seventh graders will receive their locker number and combination at new student orientation or on their first day of school. All lockers come equipped with a combination lock that is to be used by students.

Students in 9th through 12th grade may have a mix of digital textbooks and traditional hard copy/print textbooks depending on the courses in which they are enrolled. All digital books should be purchased once students return to school and schedules are finalized. Please Note: If your student is enrolled in a course that will be using a digital textbook, the instructions on how to obtain the digital textbooks from Pearson will be made available soon.

As part of our health and wellness initiative, CVCS maintains a mandatory drug testing policy for all high school students. All high school students are required to undergo an annual hair test administered by a certified staff member at the beginning of each school year. Student-specific results from the inaugural round of testing are sent directly and exclusively to parents. CVCS administrators will neither receive nor have access to these student-specific results but will receive aggregate drug-use information. Additionally, random testing occurs throughout the school year.
